Exploring our UX and e-Learning Capabilities

Hello 2020, part II

We hope that you managed to take a break from the home office to explore some of our great Aussie backyard through July. The countdown to Spring has officially begun!

On the Lenox Hill front, we’ve said bye for now to our developer, Sarah – who’s been busy becoming a Mum over the weekend – and hello to Chen, who joins our development team. Other than that we’ve been focused on delivering for our clients and wanted to share one of our proudest moments of the year with you.

Building the digital foundations for Lifeline Australia

Earlier this year, we finalised a project for Lifeline Australia that saw the new website going live in the last few weeks. Over the 18 months we worked alongside their incredibly dedicated team in Sydney (remember when travelling to the East Coast was a thing?), we were responsible for defining their digital experience from the ground up. From workshopping the digital needs of their diverse and complex audience base, to defining the end to end user experience and technical requirements for an on-time, on-budget build.

The evolution of the UX to design process was always focused on emulating the phone experience through digital wherever possible, providing that same sense of hope and connection. The use of the line drawing suggests an enduring connection between the Lifeline volunteers and those in need, coupled with approachable language and dedicated landing pages for each and every Australian to seek support and feel less alone.

We exist so that no one in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone is Lifeline’s mission. While it may be a lofty goal, every staff member and volunteer we encountered as part of this project was unwaveringly committed to it. This was one of the most personally rewarding projects we’ve worked on – applying our skills in such an important context – and hopefully impacting the lives of those who need it most. We are so proud to have played a role in bringing their digital platform to life.

Chamber of Commerce & Industry embraces e-learning

E-learning is now live on the CCIWA website, with WA-based businesses and individuals now able to engage fully with the online learning platform.

Lenox Hill worked with CCIWA to define this end to end experience, to deliver a fully integrated platform including course selection and purchase, through to taking the course and receipt of certificates for successful course completion. Once the User Experience (UX) and journeys had been developed, Lenox Hill worked on fit for purpose solutioning informed by industry best practice and our in-depth knowledge of CCIWA’s systems that were already in place. Key features include integrating with CCI WA’s CRM, configuration of single sign on capabilities and integrating course materials into Moodle.

CCIWA launched e-learning at just the right time, with a significant boost in interest in e-learning queries in Google searches since the peak of COVID in April this year. Not only is this a bonus for businesses and individuals who are members of CCIWA, it will also be available for non-member and interstate consumers.

CCIWA and Lenox Hill are continuing to optimise and improve the e-learning experience. Keep an eye out for new functionality and courses in the very near future.
